Old School Exhibition at Smug

Recently we were very kindly asked to take part in a fabulous exhibition at Smug in London. A selection of illustrators, designers and paper artists have been asked to respond to the theme 'Old School' and we set about creating an anatomical animal poster (in Lord Whitney style). We were inspired by the old science room posters that hung dustily at the backs of our classrooms as kids, and after many hours of hunting out the right shaped jugs, appropriate sized artist palette and lion looking foot stool we created our submission.

We wanted to do things a bit different this time round so asked the super talent that is Tommy Davidson to do us some wonderful screen prints. Tommy prints from Role Model Corporate (RMC), who are a recession proof creative arts and music collective. They offer tour managing, driving, design and screen printing services from their fab space in the centre of Leeds.
Here's the finished photo and screen print which we were delighted with! The opening night for the exhibition is the 24th October and prints are on sale at Smug  until January.

And a few peeks at how we created this...
